Disconnect the downpipe from the rest of the exhaust. Pull the cat up from the top as much as possible and go to town on the nuts. Another idea is to grind/cut the end of the bolts off.

ok so i found out that you cannot cut through a cat. that bitch is SOLID. on a lighter note i got those little fukin bolts off. took an extender and a pivot point to get those suckers off. i dont know how i generated the torque to bust those suckers loose but im glad i did. but of course i run into problems again. the test pipe is a bitch to bolt back onto the turbo and im confused as hell with the mounting hardware. do you remember which mounts went where Richard? i just wana get this **** done sooooo bad. im missin a sick party with lots of drunk b!thces so any help to get me out the door is greatly appreciated

lol it doesn't do it all the time but i've got it to do it twice. first time i was revving it up just after i installed it and my friend said a blue flame just shot out the back. then when i was racing a few of myfriends (GLI, Evo 8, 03 Cobra, and me)another one shot out as i shifted into second gear (the GLI, Cobra, and a few other friends who weren't racing all told me this (the Evo didn't cuz he was in front of me[&o])) i still have yet to see it tho lol
