why do I see people with summers tires driving in snow....some how the dealer said I was fine with summers..he said the quattro does all the work...I did';nt believe him & got winter tires...anyone here drives summer tires in the snow?? how does the car drive?

Had a friend with a 2.8 quattro and he was ALL over the place with his summer tires. Granted he bought high performance one all over the place non the less
