Beating G35's or even being equal in a race is not possible for a stock 1.8T. I mean, common. Stock 1.8T's are some of the slowest cars on the road. That is why so many people need to chip them to give a little power boost.

QFT. The 1.8t just isn't as fast as the G35 or wrx,plain and simple.
However,the total package of the A4 is much better than the WRX that you would be getting rid of. (IMO) But then agian, speed isn't everything to me.

my $.02, as i looked long and hard between these 2 cars. the audi is waaaaay slower, but a chip helps. so, after a while, you go back to thhe other car and say things like, "its so loud. why do i have to hold the button to raise the window? why do i have to turn this **** to cool the car?" luxury is luxury. subaru isnt. period. also, as when i used to drive the boxster and the little sti's came round wanting to race, and i knew they're faster. but when we got to the light, all the women were looking @ the porsche. the cache is there w/audi too. class is class.

lol... this thread is so old, i remember reading this thread when i was a new member... 2 years later this site hasnt changed a bit.
i love both cars, depends on what youre looking for in your own personal vehicle. thats pretty much where the argument stops.
