i got quoted $120 for lifetime guarentee on 3m tint with 20% all around and 5% front windshield. Place was called Lorenzo tint in nyc.

 

I had my GTP done for $260 with lifetime warenty, dont remember the % but that dont matter anyhow.

Side windows are pretty easy to do yourself but back windows are a b!!@&.

pksJeter...why do you need to get your current tint removed...you can just tint over it. I've seen cars with 3 layers of limo tint, overkill...but dark.

 

I wasnt aware that was an option. Either way there are some small distortions on my side windows and i cant even see out my back window it is so distorted. If anything, i really just need to get it removed for saftey reasons. anyone else have this distortion problem? and the guy explained to me the chance of losing radio signal due to the metalic tint. anybody have a problem with this?

 

some cars now a days are factory tinted a little bit like 90% tint. so if you can legally have 35% lets say then if you put 35% on you have %25 and the Cops know this. They can use it at any time to pull you over. You think your legal and thats always

Thats why you should either have your tint removed or count that % in with the total.

Or at least thats how it was explained to me.

 

paid 200 triple mettallic film all windows except windshield and it is a nasty job..

 

lol, wow i didnt know tint was so expensive. IF ANYONE IN ARIZONA NEEDS THERE WINDOWS TINTED LEMME KNOW, I GOT A NICE LITTLE HOOK UP.... $150 for all four doors as dark as you want..

i got 5% all the way around with a 6" banner on the front... $150 is a baller deal for that. The tint is freakin amazing.
