TIRE RECOMMENDATION
i got a guy sellin me some HP EVOs 18x8.5 wheels for a good price. they come with new tires they are as follows 245/35/18 in the front and 275/35/18 in the rear. they were mounted on a a6. is the bolt pattern the same? will this fit my car nicelly (a4 quattro 1997) i dont want my car gettin messed up or the wheels/tires sticking out the wheel well either! keep in mind i plan on dropping the car atleast an inch. what is an ideal size for the tire? all info is appreciated thanks..

so if i was to buy them wouldnt that mess up drive shaft and all the other goodies? since its "staggered"? he told me they were 18x8.5 i just forgot to ask him if it was all around.

Bigger problem will be the decrease in turning radius with a staggered setup on a Quattro. Less noticable will be the slight decrease in turn-in response, but it will be there, nonetheless. That much rubber, with that much stagger is diff gonna make a noticable affect on your turning radius w/quattro, IMO.

RE: TIRE RECOMMENDATION
your rear tires overall diameter is 25.5", where your fronts will be 24.7"... thats 3/4 of an inch difference in diameter dude, which means your front wheels will be spinning substantially faster than the rears, which WILL cause damage to your quattro.
Aside from that, you'll NEVER fit a 275/35/18 in the rear... EVER. that is a hugely wide tire!
