I just bought a 99 A4 Avant 1.8 T I let my son drivwe it and he claims he was messing with the steering wheel shift buttons now the Trans is in the "Back-up Mode". I've been reading forums for about a hour and can't find out how to reset. I've disconected the battery and reset the engine ECM but it's still in the "Back-up Mode". Any Ideas other than the dealer?
