if the bill of sale dosent say "car sold as is" anywhere its still the guy problem look up the lemmon law in your state.. if it not clearly stated and a problem was discover that quickly like you said your protected under state law.. do a little search its worth it.. these days anyone can be sued for anything, and cars are no joke, if the guy was that big of a brick then he knew about the problem and didnt tell you.. i say you bend him over a table and insert the large hand of the law up his reckton with no lube.. "dry no ky" make him feel your pain
you do realize jsut cuz it says as is doesn't mean he can get away with it
if u can prove he knew about the problem before he sold it to you and then didn't tell you - he can go to jail // is liable for fraud
