how can i do that ? and i don`t have the tranny serial number yet

you dont need the tranny serial # and there is no fuse for the TCU. It can be reset by disconnecting the battery for 20-25 mins. If you do that though, make sure you have your radio code.

tks a lot and if the removing the battery does not work then i have to order the sensor right ?

but you dont have the gearbox code ( OV1.A ) for the A6

The part we are talking about is not gearbox code spcefic. It is interchangeable with all 98-01 tiptronic trannies wether it be a 1.8t, 30V, A4, A6, A8, etc..
