Hi guys !!

This is my problem , when i turn the key the dashboard lights come on and fuel pump switches on etc. ....
but a orange light keeps flashing with a picture of a car and a key ! when i start it starts only for bout a sec then cuts out
repeating this a few times the orange light goes out and the car will start .

any help please ?

there is a problem with some part of the immobilzer system. Probably with either the key or the ignition cylinder. Does it also happen when you use another key?

Cant say as i have only the one key ....

seems no auto electrical people want to touch the car !

The audi agents around here only have time for you if you drive a new model so... i'm pretty much on me own here
that's why i'm relying on you guys and your help .

I've checked the connections as far as i can on the transponder box but dont know about
the key reader coil .

I know your issue....the a4 didnt exist in 1995!!!1 J/k I would say immobilzer system too, usually a light that says theft or a car like that and everything works but no crank no start condition. Is usually a anit theft issue.
