so back to my original questions......


the giac chip on the website for the 2001.5 1.8t will work with the k04 right?

You get a new chip/new programming everytime. Usually they provide it for free or a discount. Different programming for K03, K04-15, and K04-15+injectors.

thanks, so if when i purchase from giac i tell them i plan to run it on a k04-015 itll be the right programming?

yea, u'll be able to run anything from 91 oct up to like 104 unleaded race gas.(no higher unless it is definitly unleaded)

yea, you'll be recoded later when you put the turbo in anyway, so it will be fine.

ok sounds good guys. so if i order from giac is there any other alternative other than shipping my ecu to them?
