turbo install

Ok, im trying to figure out how much im gona need to do the k04, how many man hrs are going to be involved for total installation. At 52 an hr it gets pricey after a while.

you mean 52 dollars an hour? why dont you just ask whoever it is you gonna have put it in?
Its the same as a K03 as instal goes call around to get the best quote... we could give you an estamate but it comes down to what the shops gonna charge you..

with that being said it also depends on how they do it some can do it without taking the front of the car off some will. its about five hours for them to take the front off plus the removal and install.

when I removed my turbo I already had the front of the car off all I had to do was remove the intake and heat sheilding the turbo comes right out the reverse the process
That alone probly took 3-4 hours because of all the stuff attached to your intake/airbox

maybe. if there good they can do it in less time than stated above but youll still pay for the estimated instal time

Yeah it took them 11hrs to do a clutch, which i didn't think all that bad. LABOR SUCKS!


BTW = what turbo do you have?

Yeah itll take a while to do a swap. maybe 5-6 hours for a mechanic, maybe a weekend for you and a buddy. But 52 bones per hour is not a bad price. here in tx 80 dollars an hour is a good price. thats why i do all my own work.

Damn straight! Thats for oem replacement. if you wanted to do a high performance suspension its 140 an hour
