Just got my car back from the mechanic after installing a new stock turbo. I never noticed a whistling noise that now seems very apparent is that normal. I know turbos whistle but when i got this car i never heard it up until the few days before the total break down of the turbo. Also when i got the car back the car now shakes terribily when accelarating the mechanic said it was the front axles but before the breakdown it never shook. Any answers would be appreciated

 

what else do you ahve done to the car...

as far as the whistle goes thats normal. if you get an intake or have one its going to be alot louder than a bone stock one. but you probably never heard it before because it was broken/or in the process of breaking down.

 

check the turbo inlet hose at the turbo sometimes it slides off because it wasn't pushed all the way back the tighted down i have had that happen once or twice and when it happens it makes a whistle sound

 

how loud is this whistle? I guess mine is more of the spool soudns... but it could sound like a whistle
