Default Urgent: Cat got disconnected from turbo

its the first time i see this thing happen. My cat just got disconneced from the turbo. It just snaped off while I was driving last night. Tomorrow I'm taking it to the mechanic. Now my question is: Is it safe to drive the car with basically an open exhaust from my place to my mechanic about 30 miles away. Thanks guys.

i dont see why not, ull prob just see a boost in performance cause ur expelling exhaust faster...just dont take it for inspection along the way [8D]

How did it disconnect from the turbo? Did the bolts on the back of the turbo break? Did part of the cat stay on the turbo?
