NEWB TEST PIPE QUESTION
1997 turbo AWD automatic.
i searched but did not find clear answers.
i want to replace my front cat with a test pipe. since my cat is shot. i'm not worried about emissions. but worried about the cel. what are my options as far as test pipes ? as well as not triggering the cel ?
i prefer ss, if anyone makes one. also i'm looking for one with both o2 bungs.
please advise.

i was thinking something like this ?
http://www.gmpperformance.com/index....ID=113855&VS=1
but can't tell if it has 2 bungs ?
anyone have any feedback on this part ?

Two o2 bungs will still give you a check engine light. The second o2 checks wheter the cat is working. No cat means the sensor wont see it workin. You need to get an o2 simulator to get rid of the check engine light.
yes i'm well aware of how both o2 sensors work & why.
the question is how do i run a test pipe whithout the cel coming on ?
what is this simulator you are talking about ? any links to it ?
what are my options?
ecu chipped ? wire in resistors ? add a spacer to the second o2 to move it farther out of the exhaust stream ?
i'm looking for the guaranteed way to do this for an a4.
