Can anybody help me locate and check the vacuum line on a 99 A4 1.8TQM. Please help, thank you.

Ummmm, engines are full of them. They do lots of things like providing vacuum to various valves.

 

Yeah as david said, there are lots of them running around the engine bay. Just look for the little hoses (3 mm I believe).
