Iclearedthe codes, drove it around and they came back.

Tomorrow morning I will check the car for any vaccum leaks. I already bought some spark plus that I haven't put in yet so I will also be doing that along with an oil change.

If you have had this problem before what was your fix? My main concern is thesystem tolean fault code.

Thanks guys.

I check all the vacuum lines for leaks and zip tied the ones without claps. I guess they took them off when they did the timing belt acuple months ago. I also went out and bought a bottle of MAF cleaner and cleaned out my MAF. Cleared all the codes drove it around, I tought that that did the trick but after 30 mins of driving the Check Engine light came back on.

I then ordered my MAF from ECStunning and replaced it. I drove it around for awhileand no cel.I hopethat that did the trick.

I scaned it agian and now I'm getting these codes.

30-10 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent
01206 - Signal for Duration of Ignition Off Time
27-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

Now what could this be?

Thanks.

i think the 00787 is the intake temp sensor which is usually between the throttle body and maf. it might also be the a/c and heat air intake temp sensor. no idea where that is though. get it to a place that can check it for free. no idea wut the other code is though. see if u can get a repair manual. i kno the public library in my area has them and so do autopart shops like autozone or advance

Default VAg codes

Hi all again ,
Like I havent had enough prob's with the Audi.....

I was driving the car today and bang it cut out. Battery went flat after a few hours, wont start now. Charged the battery, tried to turn the ignition... nothing !!

Ran a VAG diagnostic heres the code :

01592 - Air Quality Sensor (G238)
37-00 - Faulty
01206 - Signal for Duration of Ignition Off Time
27-00 - Implausible Signal
01304 - Radio
49-10 - No Communications - Intermittent

Q: 1) - are these three linked in anyway ?
2) - could it possible have anything to do with the timming belt ?

Theres is like a crunching noice when you turn the ignition, Im worried the timing belt has snapped, however when I took one of the covers off, the belt looked fine and was on tight.

Please could any1 help

Thanks
Sunny

I would check your valve cover gasket thats most likely where the leak is coming from. I hope they changed the crank gasket when they changed the timing belt. I had one of those go out on me and had to do the timing belt all over. The crunchy sound is probably your starters gear all ground up inside. Thats probably why it wont start. If you hear any metal on metal contact when trying to start besides your starter then your valves are probably bent and would need a new head/rebuilt. You gotta change your timing belt though. Oil got on it, thats really bad and it wont last long like that.
