VVME HID FOGS Installed- PT 2 - LOW BEAMS INSTALLED-lots of pics
Seriously, leave the 10,000K kit for the posers out there who don't actually care if they can see. You're going to want the functionality of HIDs more than a "cool look" down the road, and if you get the high-K kits, you're essentially not going to get anything out of it except a wallet that is lighter by almost a hundred bucks.
If you just want blue lights, get some LEDs for a lot less money and mount them on the front of the car, or those cheap-*** "plasma-HID-xenon-starlight-starbright-why-the-f*ck-can't-I-see-tonight" bulbs for $9 at Walmart, or hell, just string up some Xmas lights across the grille (all of those will give you about the same amount of visibility).
Even having HIDs, I'm pleasantly surprised by how well the fogs work on the A4 (which can't be said of a lot of cars), and they make a difference whether it's foggy/rainy/sh*tty out, or just out at night on unlit roads. When you need 'em you're gonna want to be able to actually see with them. It's your money, but you've got plenty of input from several of us who have HIDs and have experience with them in various color temperatures. Your car, your choice, but you really should look at lighting mods that help visibility. Don't sacrifice safety for the sake of "style".

looks awesome! I have 8000K in my headlights and I love em but visibility is kinda low. I had 10000K in my celica and I actually could see with them when aimed properly but I think I'm going to do 3000K for my fogs since I already have yellow fog lights.
thanks guys .. i think 3000k fogs would look cool .. if i had to do it over again .. i think i might have went that route .. oh well ..but still enjoying my HID's ..I love the output of the lights plus the look ..
I need to read up on DIY clear corners ..

Niiice HIDs.. I so want to do this with my car.
What EXACTLY do I need to install 8000k HIDs for my low beams and take my factory Halogen lights and use them as Fog lights?
and since I'm using 8000k for low beams should I make the high beams 10000k or are factory high beams brighter then 8000k HIDs??
