Jeez, wonder why the hell they're selling them THAT low. I haven't been to the site in awhile, which is why I had a hard time with believing that price. Makes me wonder if they're just liquidating and closing down shop...

well their kits of 2 ballasts 2 bulbs and everything is like 50 bucks so one ballast priced at 10 sounds about right... check their site.

I hit you back with a PM, but I filed through paypal, and the CC company, you won't win either.

The pieces alone look cheap in price, but they drill you on the shipping. It's cheaper to buy the piece through their "warranty" but still a rip consitering total kit price. If you opt to ship it back for warranty, I was quoted around 6 weeks for ship/test/and turnaround. My shipping price was $42 to their door, still more than just buying a new part for the $35 quoted in their policy.

Best bet is to buy a complete second kit. It went against every grain of my being after the problems I had, but in the end it's the best option + you get spare parts.

My final assurance was that the cost of both kits shipped was less than 1/2 of the price of my previous McCulloch kit.

Sorry about your luck, and I feel your pain.

Replied again, but for the good of those watching:

best of luck, but you won't win. I'm just trying to save you what I went through.

your cc can't help you. by making a payment through paypal, your CC company fowards payment onto Paypal, and then paypal fowards it onto the payee. On creation of your account, the terms you agree to state that you forfeit charge rights when using paypal to their internal claims department. the Pay Pal claims department does NOT garauntee quality or condition of product. that is the responsibility of a quality seller. VVME will enter a valid tracking number, and they will win a claim within minutes. i disputed for the full duration, and even had them write "No phone support customer. Email only, no warranty except cost". I still lost my claim once escalated. I think it took ~10 minutes for Paypal to deny my claim.

It is not bait and switch, their store and online market clearly convey shipping from China. Also, you will never get anything from them other than form replies. they speak no English and my CC company confirmed that the address is simply a legal US postage fowarding address and phone number. it allows them to do buisiness and have a tax ID number, but it is a generic business phone number for "distributors only", which they have none of in the US.

You're dealing with a foreign based, non english speaking, no service, wholsale, factory-direct company that uses processes to ensure their money. You cannot win.

hate to be the bearer of bad news.
