Yep the same. All one piece headlights will require the writeup you speak of.

yeah, doesnt sound too difficult (im hope not) well anyway down here in australia itllbe a unique looking audi a4 with them lights...

my dad used to work nights 45 min from home and would run on highs the whole way for 4 months at a time. I recommend black electrical tape. It's fast, easy and reversable.

Have you checked to see if your headlights are aimed correctly?
