yea that seems like its going to be very hatd to get good money for it. it might be worth more to you to just keep it. i really dont think you will get anywhere near 6k for it. unfortunately i think 3500 sounds more like it.

 

the thing is that "in their eyes" it's a reliable car and is supposed to last me through College, 4 more years. And then I'll get the title as my graduation present.



Why do these cars sell for so much lower than KBB value and even NADA. both sites with my millage still got me 5k?

 

It's not just Audi, it's ALL cars. You can usually get a pretty realistic (if depressing) idea from Edmunds.com.

PS. I never noticed how silly those little passenger side mirrors look until I saw that pic from above. I know that's not really helpful for you, so I'm sorry and I hope you are able to sell your car for a nice bit of money .

 

If I were you, I would just get absolutly everything fixed on the car, then you have a great running car, and you don't have to bother selling it. Thats just my opinion. I would be satisfied with a car with everything fixed......

 

at least you have some style. my little cousin went car shopping w/her dad. she wanted this, that, this, that. then he bought her the ford contour.

 

+1........ i used to sell cars..... and you won't get much even once everything is fixed unless you find the right person...... you be better off if you are looking to sell see what you can get at a dealership..... i know i know, not 6 k....... you will probably never get that


so long and short is spend 2k to get maybe 4.5k or trade it and get 2.5-3.5k?

or fix it and drive it till you get out of college...... then get you a 2.0t
