Default Warranty

i was thinking about purchasing a warranty for my b5. it has 86000 on it and some problems already that might cost me some money. the warrantly covers everything its fully covered. all lubricated engine parts drive train and alot more. they want 200 down and 150 a month for 12months with no interest rate. i think its a good idea especially if something major goes wrong. what do you guys think?

28months covered. and i believe my turbo is not working, my lifters are making noise and now i tink im having timing chain noises. so ive been told tat in the run it might be a lot to fix, even more then the warrantly. oh yea i left out that i have sludge build up in my engine as well noticed this when i changed my valve cover gasket

i think that is a bit high and they don't go over 100,000 miles, and you have to pay 200.00 every time you use it. i have an extended warranty that i paid 2600 for but i only had 50,000 miles and it is good for 10 years or 100,000 miles with a 100 detuctible.

i pay 100 dollars co payment, im good till 111,000 miles. they cover all parts and labor as well. i dont feel that paying 150 a month is that bad. especially compared to paying 500 to fix the turbo, 650 to fix the timing chain and lord only knows what else. the prior owner was spoiled and never did a god damn thing to my baby. and she needs fixn

it would cost alot more to fix the timing belt and your oil sludge problem and your turbo, you are low on all of your prices, go for it, you will have a hell of a bill if you don't. take it to the dealer and have them fix it, they all ways seem to find other things wrong with it while its there and if you have the warranty your not paying for it anyway, that's what i do. good luck.

yeah and to minimize your co-paments just get everything done all at once. or let your timing belt go and get a whole new setup for free lol.

i think the manual says to change the t belt at 105,000, so if it breaks before that it's not your fault, if your car is lowered you will have a problem because the warranty company will not cover cars with alltered suspension or engine mods because they think that is the reason you car failed, trust me on that one i had to put mine back to stock.
