Thought my windshield washer fluid was dry...filled it up and it won't pump fluid...not frozen...
Is there a fuse or something?...The wipers work

Could be your pump, or a line may be cloged. Get another person to listen for the pump while you attmept to spray...Be sure they are in the firing line of the fluid just in case it comes out No, really ,just have them stick their head down near the resovoir to hear the pump..if not, replace the pump

 

Yeah the pumps go bad all the time.

I have a 2004 A4 1.8T doing the same thing. It was fuse #37, I think it's labeled intelligence control. Check yours, there's a good chance that it's blown. I replaced mine and it was fine...however it seems to have blown again this morning. I'll have to replace it when I get home.

 

Umm....a fuse that keeps blowing indicates an underlying problem. Do not just replace it. It is there to protect the circuit. Fix the problem then replace the fuse.

 

replacing the fuse is just a tempery fix we give to customers till we can make an appointment to get them into the shop to replace the pump very common problem in the winter
