Default weird suspension noise

This might be a dumb question, but ive had my 2000 a4 1.8t for about 5 months, and the other day i noticed that if i have no music on, and im going real slow, and i go over a speed bump or a pot hole or a racoon or something, my shocks make a little psssst noise. Is this just the shocks working, or is this something going wrong?

if it is more of a squeaky noise then that means the previous owner must have put spacers in your suspension (for added stiffness) and they need to be adjusted.

nah its not really squeeky, it sounds like its air pushing out of something (shocks / tires) right as they go over a bump. It might be normal, maybe ive just never had a car that did it / was quiet enough to notice.
