It only happens once in a blue moon. Ill crank and nothing. Ill crank again,nothing... One more time. Crank. She fires. But shes loping at 200rpms. then she shoots to 1600rpms then comes down to 850ish idle.
Have no idea what is going on. No CEL eather. Runs like a dream after the rough start.
Noticed it started after I did my exhaust. Anyone else have this prob?

 

I have the same problem with a 2003 A4 1.8 turbo. Only does it when it has sat for some time and the ambient temp. is quite cold. I have found no resolution to the problem. Anyone with a solution?
