What do I get out of this warranty?
I have a 2003 Audi A4 that was purchased certified pre-owned. I was told during the purchase that It had a warranty up to 92,000 miles or 3 years yada yada because the 4year 50k miles was up. The car has 42000 miles. So when i asked what was covered, he said anything that is covered in the manufactures warranty is covered by the one to 92000. I am going through my paperwork and I dont see anything regarding the warranty. I tried to call back into Audi to speak to my sales person or the financing guy and NEITHER were there. I asked the sales person I was talking to and I have NO clue why he is working at Audi because he is dumb as a rock and said its better for me to call back in. Ok. So that leaves me pondering whats covered in the warranty. I stated that there was a noise that I heard on the way home from the dealership on the freeway that I wanted to bring it in. Now im worried that im gonna get CHARGED for something. What is technically covered? I really feel as if I was misinformed if this ends up being something different than I was told.
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!
i just bought a 2004 a4 with 40k miles and i have the same warranty deal. It covers anything that can break, it all ecompassing, so feel free to take it in, on mine at least there is a $0 deductable if its under 50,000 miles to have it looked at and that is all your pay. If its over 50k then its a $50 deductable and thats all you pay. The certified pre-owned as i understand has a great warranty.
Is there anything I can do then since this noise was there when I purchased the car but of course they never let you drive on the freeway. The dealership I got the car from is actually about an hour and a half from me and of course are closed on the weekends so I can never make it out during the week. Can I ask them about not having to pay the 50 dollar deductable since this noise was heard when I left the dealership? and maybe they can transfer this to a closer dealership? Also I noticed that different dealerships offer loaners and BMW always gives you a loaner, even during an oil change. Will I not get a loaner since im under the extended warranty if my local dealership offers loaners?
Audigirly- Just call the service department..Not the sales department.
Kolan-since your car is still underwarranty call audi (any audi dealership) tell them your problems and also ask them when is the next time your car should be serviced. they should be glad to help.
