What do you make of this a4

If I were able to, say, get the price down to 5,500 - would it be worth it?

Man, I should really offer my car buying services at a fee. Don't get yourself screwed. Keep searching, you'll find a better deal. I bought my girlfriend a 1998.5 2.8 Quattro MT5 over a year ago with 110k on the clock and only paid $7,800. You can do MUCH better.
Look on eBay for starters.

I purchased my 98.5 with 130k on it in Jan of 2006 for $5300 - everything mint. Keep looking around, or lowball the hell out of them - $4500. Watch ebay, thats where I got mine - guy was 30min away from me - but don't buy anything that you can't test drive first.
i've been looking into the diy pages for the timing belt swap. seems like a long day's work, but it looks like something I can handle - Plus, its about 180 compared to the 750 I was quoted the other day on the 145k a4
The only downside I see with this last one, is no premium audo (I love my music - slightly audiophile), and no 1.8t [
