you can also do it while your driving I have a 2001 1.8tq with the regular symphony...I messed with this and made it sound alot better than the factory settings

 

Before I begin... YES I DID A SEARCH ON AW, AZ, HERE AND GOOGLE. NO LUCK

Hate to bring this back from the dead guys but I have realized that my rear speakers do not work at all. My sub is pumping out the base but very faint and the rear speaker seem dead. Before I go tearing up the back deck to get at the speakers and test the wires I want to know if it could be an EQ setting. Now, I do have an 02 A4 1.8TQM WITH The Audi SymphonySystem andI have done the following but have not gotten the EQ to come up....

Pressed and held down 5 for 5 seconds and turned on theradio... Nothing
Pressed and held down 5 and turned on the radio... Nothing
Done the same thing with the other buttons and the normal stuffcomes up for 1,2,3 and 4.But 5 and 6 have nothing.

When I did it with 4 the version number of the software came up. It is VER. 2.0C560IUS7.06

Can anyonego and check their software version to see ifit matches the one above? Ifso, tryto do the hiden EQ thing and let me know if it comes up.

Im pretty sure ts only for the B5 symphony radios.

 

Yeah I feared that... Thanks 1.8T. Now here is the million dollar question.. Can the radio software version be reflashed to the version that does have the hidden EQ.... I'll start digging but if anyone knows, by all means SHARE lol
