My chrrome trim around the side windows is getting dull, spoty looking stuff covers it. What can I use to clkean it off and polish it? I tried washing it real well with soap but no luck. What do you guys use or do I just leave it like it is?

 

There is a polish that is recommended by vw to clean those "chrome" pieces. Theyre not really chrome. Sorry but i dont remember the name, but i think it was made by 3m.

 

Just go to a local auto parts store and ask what the best product is. They will know what you should use. I used to use a 3M cleaner that was awesome but that was years ago. There are plenty of products out there though.
