The GT is a turbo setup or BT setup( BigTurbo) big power but you neednew exhaust chip DV maybe intake VAG COM, search threads there are tons of them with what people have done and the poweer they make. you can copy someone or research and figure it out your self, READ READ READ that all you need to do and you will be up to speed in week or so!! Cheers to Singledum and a fast ride.

I would read the boards for awhile and see what others are doing before doing anything you are not sure about.
Will take the advice of both of you without a doubt. But what is a typical start for performance parts on these cars?

I would get yourself a chip first for $550 + DV. Then move onto other things as time goes on. Id be putting that $600 aside if its not needed for the condo then get a different turbo setup. Look threw the search under various things like DV, Chip, Exhaust, K04, GT2871 and air box mod. You will get so much more info. than what we can throw at you now.

I'm a big fan of figuring out where you want to be and not where to start. Otherwise you'll end up wasting money. Like you spend $500 on a chip now and in a couple months decide you want to go big turbo, now you need to buy software again and spend another $700. so figure out how far your willing to take it them find out what you will need and slowly buy all the supporting mods you'll need till you have the full project.

i would take ateurv8's advice. those are all very inexpensive starting points. assuming u had a v8 in ur mustang, this set up wont compare, but those are all the basic building blocks to the real overall power points found with upgrading the turbo and adding the necessary equipment for them (intercooler, fuel system, etc.) which are all a bit more costly...but well worth it once you have them all on there. This will also allow you to break up the cost that goes into upgrading your a4, cuz it sounds like you want to upgrade as u go along saving money...not just everything at once.

If a girls going to play with you like that after 10 months she would've after one week or ten years... There's plenty to go around but only so many audis to go around... Work on that suspension right away with some dubs and you'll be banging her best friends every night...
