Whining noice on initial roll
Hi everyone..I've noticed that after my car is parked for a few hours; say after work - when I begin to leave the parking lot I hear a whining noise similar to what you would hear when your brake pads are worn and you depress the brake pedal. However, the noise stops once I go above 10 mph or if I apply the brakes. Can anyone shed some light into this? Thanks in advance.
Hey Everyone,
Correction to previous post, it's not so much a whining noise it is more like a squeaking as the wheels begin to turn on initial roll. May I say that the noise dissaperas once the car has been driven for like 10 minutes.
Thanks

My friends nissan did the same thing.
Get the brake fluid flushed.
If that doesn't fix the problem (which it didn't on Dan's nissan)
It is most likly the calipers or the bearings have gone dry.
Hope this helps.
