I have the same problem but only when I am reversing the car and turning the wheel to the left. They weird thing is this sound never happend before and I actually think i have too much power steering fluid in there. The power steering fluid I bought was from AUDI dealership itself, so I dont know if it is Pentosin 11. Do you guy think i should use Turkey baster and suck all power steering fluid out and then replace, cause I still have half the bottle left?

Or you could use Dextron Tranny fluid. instead of the expensive "audi-only" PS fluid.

 

Turkey baster can only get out about 4 ounces from the reservoir.

Redgoat, i don't have the original audi manual anymore (bought the car used), so i can' t look it up.
what's a good manual to buy?

 

Check on Ebay... you can get the Manuals there sometimes. I got mine that way. Helps out a bunch.

 

The manual doesn't state what the capacity of the system is. Neither does the factory service manual.

I would not put ATF in the system. Bad idea.
