Why is the dealer such a rip?
The dealers don't give a **** about saving older audi owners money. They're around for new car sales primarily. So when you think of bringing your older A4 to the dealer think twice. They'res a reason they chanrge an arm and a leg.
Grunt - Get a used throttle body man.... why shell out 4 franklins for one?

+1 Used one will work just as good. Dealerships make there money on parts and labor and they charge ridiculous prices because most Audi owners are people like xbrian87 who are unaware of the less expensive alternatives and are willing to pay the premium for "quality". Not that its a bad thing. The more knowledgeable you are the less willing you'll be to get blatantly ripped off...and yes dealerships really don't give a **** about older model cars, they give me the stink eye when I tell them my car is a 98 lol

I need my car running, she refuses to stay on, hooked up a OBD II, the computer doesnt see the engine speed below 2000rpm.... Sooooo yeah.
As for the dealers, anyone in NYC area DO NOT GO TO ZUMBACH AUDI UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR WALLET VIOLENTLY RAPED. I went in and everytime they throw these astronomical numbers at me, I just dont go there nor buy anything there.
