Ok, here's the best I can guess....

Is the car turning over or not? or just clicking? or nothing?

If its turning over, maybe all the available power is being used up to turn the starter, and the electric fuel pump is not getting the voltage it needs to do its job. So, itcould turn over, and no gas getting there.

I dont have all the answers but I am a good troubleshooter. And the first thing I would try is either replace (or borrow) a good battery, and see what happens. That allows you to rule out the likely cause of the battery before you waste any time speculating on other things.

The car is turning over, and you're probably right about the starter sucking up all the power. I would borrow a good battery if I knew someone that had one (there aren't exactly a lot ofpeople driving Audi's where I live), but I'll get a new battery for it sometime this week. Thanks for all the advice.

No problem, I hope its an easy fix by just repalcing the battery. Sounds like it will be, good luck!

If not, you know where to find us......

Finally figured it out. Just took the battery out for 10 minutes, put it back in, and the car would start. Will probably still get a new battery, though.
