would APR blow a K04?

I had the APR first then went K04 when my turbo blew out a year ago. I haven't updated to GIAC because I haven't cared enough yet (Only 5000 miles driven). Any ideas on the pros/cons of this setup? Could it kill my turbo?
Lately I've been getting a new noise (not a drill, more like a blowing sound). I put in a new Forge DV and that didn't solve it. I've heard that the DV vac line can go bad. Anyone have this happen?

You aren't getting much more out of the K04 than the stock K03 and APR program because you don't have the programming for the K04. Swotching to the K04 GIAC file will give you about 20-25 more HP and keep pulling at the higher RPM.
so if you get the chip with the ko3 and then upgrade the turbo to ko4 it isnt giving u much more power. if thas the case could u just send the chip back in when upgrading to ko4 to get it programed for the ko4 or would u have to buy a whole new chip
