Would like to work on my own car, but.......
Ok, I'm a college student and have never owned a tool in my life. I would like to get a tool kit to start getting familiar with my car on little easy DIY installs and tune-ups. Does anyone know of any kits (Within a reasonable price) that I could purchase that would allow me to enough things without having to run to the hardware store every week. Kinda like a starter kit. I already have a jack and jack stands so I'm good when it comes to lifting the car. Oh and do you guys use a power drill much?
This might be a strange question but thanks for any input!!

Hey man I am also a college student in auto management actually, and you can go through craftsman and they can throw together some student packages and save you a lot of money. But remember most stuff on an audi is metric so I wouldnt buy too much domestic tools if you only plan on using the tools for your car. Hope this helps
this is a pretty good kit and you can get it alot less on sale, http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...seBVCookie=Yes
Screw sears... Harbor Freight tools is your firend. I'm a college student, but I do 99% of all the work on every car I've owned and I've saved a lot and learned more than many my age. I have about $4,000 in tools accumulated over 3 years, but they're worth every penny.
