Hi all! Bought meself a '00 A6 4.2L for cheap needing a few things fixed. The one thing that has stumped me (so far) is that the memory seat, steering column, and power mirrors do not do anything when I push any of the memory buttons. I have read many of the posts here and done all of the fixes to no avail. I have: run the seat all the way forward, seat back too, and raised the height all the way up till the electronics make the soft click. I then reset my driving position, held the m button down and then pushed a memory position. Still nothing. The steering column and the mirrors never move either. The only time the column ever moved on it's own was just after reaching about 100 mph. The column went to it's park position, all the way up and in. I replaced the shifter recently because someone destroyed it trying to steal the car, however the memory didn't work prior to changing it out. Got any ideas? Thanks for your help, Matt.

 

Bad memory module? Maybe some Ginko Biloba would help....
