04 A6 2.7t turbo swap for rs4 kit
I have a fun project going on. I blew my stock turbo on my 04 a6 2.7t with 144,000 miles. So I have decided to up upgrade. I am Going with 2 k04 rs4 turbos with 3"down pipes rs6 side mount intercoolers, custom bi-pipe kit 550cc injectors, and apr's stage 3 ecu upgrade all parts came from SsAutoChrome
Turbo timer from apexi on eBay
Apr ecu upgrade and build being done by 247 automotive in El Paso Tx
All parts came out to $1380.00 thank you Rich from SsAutoChrome
Are there any suggestions or can anybody think of anything else I need ?

I don't know if you had a stage 1 previously, but if not you should install high performance diverter valves and throttle body boot to handle the increased pressure. What is the labor for the upgrade or are you doing that yourself?

You are correct. But there is an rs4 turbo kit upgrade stage 3 that apr used to sell. And a lot of other dealers sell for the v8 rs4. You are correct about the cooling system the radiator was upgraded and replaced over 2 year ago with an aftermarket I can not remember the name. So hopefully it holds up. and the original side mount intercoolers and being replaced with the rs6 upgrade version side mount intercoolers. And since I live in New Mexico I am gonna see how the car runs the rest of the summer to see if I need to add water injection or not. Once I figure this site out I will have pictures maybe videos or a link to YouTube. Stay tuned.

I'd be interested to know if the installer somehow does all of this without pulling the engine. I have a 2.7t myself and have wanted to do this for a long time, but frankly, I don't want to pull the engine haha!
I've heard conflicting reports of some people magically swapping turbos without pulling the 2.7 out, but I just can't see how this is possible.

The motor has to be bull I'm also having them replace all vacuum lines all PCV lines transmission flush since everything else to come out. Full transmission flush cost $230 the labor for pulling the motor Pennyback in putting all the bolts on and turbo timer 1600. If I had a garage I would definitely do it myself but I don't . Stay posted because once it's done I'll be taking more photos and I'll be putting videos up
