1995 A6 Indicator problem
I have an old 1995 A6 and the indicators have just stopped working, hazards and all. The fuse was blown but replacing it did nothing. I sourced a second hand and tested hazard flasher switch, which I understand contains the electronics and relay for the hazards and indicators?? Changing this has also achieved nothing.
I fear it may be the end of the road but as there seems to be nothing else wrong with her I was hoping it may be a simple problem to fix?
Any help with getting this sorted would be most appreciated.

These cars have a real problem with two switches as they age, the ignition switch and the multifunction stalk for the direction indicator/headlights. Based on what you are reporting I would guess ignition switch. Buy an OEM switch from the dealer and replace it yourself. The cost of the switch is about $40. There are a lot of How-To's on line. If you have done it before it is a 15 minute job.
