I have a few little issues with my A6. My first problem is with my turn signals.The problem started with the blinkers working occasionally but now neither one will work, just a solid light goes on - it won't blink. My second problem is that my warning/dinging noise does not work anymore when I turn my car off and leave the lights on. My third problem is that when I open my car door the interior light does not go on. Does anyone have any experience with these problems? Any advice? Everyone is so knowledgable on this site, it's great and I really appreciate everyones help!

 

hi there, the problem with your indicators sounds to me like the relay that you usually hear clicking when your turning has melted itself together. two cures, get a new one, not expensive! Or try just unplugging it and tapping it with a little hammer to free it up inside.

Interior light switched on from inside, button in the neutral position and not switched over?? does it come on when any of other doors opened indicating a faulty door switch which could also be the reason for buzzer on lights not working

I found out what is all wrong with my car...the reason my alarm (dinger) doesn't go off when the lights are left on and the inside light doesn't come on when the doors are opened is because I need a new Door Latch. The blinker problem is a Hazard Switch. Has anyone replaced these items themselves?
