So today I tried replacing my bad turn signal relay that wouldn't function if i did "Left or Right" but worked when Emergency flashers were going.

When I installed the new one, I thought it was easy and I was done. No sir. When I turned on the car to test it I got a really annoying squeal coming from the relay itself.

I originally thought I had another defective part but when I plugged the old one back in it was still there.

I haven't been able to find any information on said problem.

Has anyone ran into this or anything similar???

Its actually not the relay it self that makes this happen. It´s the combi arm (turn signal arm) that is the source of this noise.

I had something similar to this in my car and I too tried to change the hazard swith/relay to begin with.

Then I got a new turnsignal combi switch and that fixed it.
