2003 A6 3.0 problem questions
Hi all-
I bought a 2003 used Audi A6 Certified from my local Audi Dealer with 43,xxx miles. Love the drive of car etc. but less than 24 hrs after bringing it home i've had some problems:
Driving the car on freeway and traction control (ESP) light and ABS light came on at same time. Got home and parked car. Started up later and both lights would go off after start up then come on again after about 10 seconds. I arrived home late and parked car. For sure, no lights (parking/inside etc) when i locked it up. This morning wake up, and can see that the rear lights only (brake-including center light) are lit up. Get in car to make sure nothing is pushing brake pedal etc. start car drive around block for 5 min. bring back and brake lights still lit with no key in ignition and no light on from car.
Also, the windshield wiper symbol came up in center dash, and the cigarette lighter does not work. These are the mechanical things wrong. There are others also sad to say.
Any help would be appreciated.
Tim
