2007 Audi A6 3.2 engine issues (need HELP)
Hi guys. At like 75k miles, I started to get a little over revving right at engine cold start up. It got worse, and then the check engine light came on and stayed on. Took it to my local mechanic, and he saw several codes relating to the intake flap.
1. Intake flap bank one stuck open
2. Intake flap bank one stuck closed
3. Intake flap bank two stuck closed.
He did a bunch of tests, and said that there doesn't seem to be a problem with the intake flap, opening or closing. He wants to order the sensors, for bank one and two, and replace them. Anyone else figure this would fix the issue?

Have you checked for any vacuum lines leaks? Or had a vacuum leak in the past?
Reason why the vacuum leaks set off several codes. I had one leak that set off intake flap banks, misfire cylinders(1,3,7,8) and oxygen sensor. While in the shop they fixed the leak they when ahead and cleaned all the sensors, spark-plugs, injectors and throttle body. It did a difference. The vacuum line is cheap under $30 OEM or just a regular hose line under $3. The diagnostics and repair ran me a little over $200. But you could do it yourself.
But it might not be the same issue; Let's have others weight in.
