I renewed my belts and pump about three months ago at a cost of £700. Yesterday the alternator belt split and made the timing belt jump I took it back to the garage that did the belts they refuse liability and said there were a handfull of large stones in the belt housing which had caused the damage. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks John
