A6 2.7 Steering Wheel Controls
I have a 2001 2.7t A6. and for some reason the steering wheel lights and controls have died. can't skip a track or raise/lower volume from wheel.
Im guessing this is a simple fix, u know, crack open the fuse box and replace a fuse. But in the manual, theres no instructions on changing a fuse for this problem, all it says is "heated steering wheel" and my 01' isnt a model that has this option. any ideas on which fuse, or something else that I can do to resolve the problem?
thanks, Vidal.

Have a vag-com? Usually there will be an error in the radio and maybe it needs cleared. Other than that there's gotta be a connection under the dash that could of came off. Does your horn work? check your horn fuse also they might be the same.

A6 2 7 Steering Wheel Controls
I replaced my intermediate steering shaft today and after I was all done, none of my steering wheel controls work or light up. I also noticed that my dash says " Service Airbag" Anybody know what I did wrong or any ideas? I think I spun my steering wheel too many times when I was taking the old one out and putting the new one on. Maybe I pulled a wire or wires when doing this. Im not sure....What should I do?

The steering wheel controls have a controller in the relay panel under the dash by the driver's feet.
But I do agree with justinm001, a VAG Com is the Audi owner's best friend. Use a VAG Com to talk to your Audi to ask it how it feels! It will save you money if you keep your Audi.
It is a good possibility you have damaged the "clock spring" wiring. I can't remember it from the last time I had the wheel off, but in the manual it looks like it is replaceable.
