Question A6 2.7T 2001 suspenssion problem

Hi guys. I'm not sure what's happening with my suspenssion but sometimes if i brake and hit a puthole in the same time, the front of the car starts to shake for a few seconds or untill i release the brake. i'm not talking about braking hard - normal braking -
any ideas why?
thanks

if it happens when your are actively braking, stops when you take your foot off the brake, it kind of makes me think a wheel speed sensor causes your ABS to engage. that is if the "shaking" you describe is like the dreaded ABS pulse....

just a guess

i thought of that but it is not the pedal that shakes - it is literally the whole front end. I was wondering if anybody else experienced the same thing...

Oddly enough, my ride does the same thing. It was frightening at first, but now I try not to brake over any bumps or potholes. I don't know what the problem is, maybe someone who experienced this has a solution or answer.
