Default A6 2.7t Chip question

I have three questions about the GIAC chip for the a6 2.7t

1. I have an S-Line, will I gain the horsepower added by the chip, plus the 15 the s-line ecu programming gives, or just the same numbers as regular chipped 2.7's?

2. What is the effect on gas mileage? With gas for me reaching almost 60.00 a tank, this is definitely a concern for me.

3. I have a Hi-Road extended warranty that covers me to 100k miles/5yrs. Will the chipping void this warranty? Is there a way to make the engine stock again so that the people doing warranty work cannot notice?

Thanks a lot!

As for being an S-line you would have to ask GIAC, my guess would be the extra 15 HP won't be there after the chip.

The gas mileage will actually be better if you drive it normally, if your stomping on it all the time (you probably will) then it will be less.

This will void all powertrain warranty if the dealer wants to check for it, but they are only gonna check for it if you blow your motor or something crazy like that.

In my experience:

1- Not sure, but guess it'd be the same.
2- my gas mileage is 1 to 2 MPG worse in 93 oct program VS Stock. I switched back to stock for a week on October to check just that.
3- it will void it they checl for it. Most Indy shop won't care and the warranty won't send anyone for small stuff... If you blow a turbo.... then problems!

The warranty laws are in favor of the consumer: the warranty will be voided only if it can be proven the chip/mod was a direct cause of a failure. Chipping clearly would not be responsible for all powertrain failures.

True, i should say any complete engine failures audi is gonna check for a chip, not so much a broken CV axle.
