A6 2.7T feeler. Opinions PLZ!!!
My opinion, not based on facts. I'm curious about the fleet vehicle designation. Typically you see dealer or private owner.
It's not uncommon for CO rental fleets to stock luxury vehicles for affluent skiers, and what better than an A6. So it's possible this originally came out of a rental fleet. That could be bad (lot's of different drivers, some careless) or good (rental fleets do regular maintenance and the cars are loaded with all the goodies).
So, as always, caveat emptor. A test drive and checking every accessory and all power equipment tells you a lot. Having an independent inspection may save you money in the long run.
As far as all the work after auto auction, I suspect the car was pulled from fleet service at 30k miles and auctioned off. It's not worth it for the rental guys to put money into a vehicle they are selling. It was bought in IL and the dealer there went through the car, did the Audi maintenance and fixed anything that needed fixing, then sold it as a used car.
I did not open the link to see mileage and price, but count on a timing belt at around 80-90k at a dealer cost of $1500 and negotiate that in. Then find a good indie and have the job done for ~$1000 or less. You may also be coming up on a battery with a 5 year old car. Dealer price ~$200 but you can buy for $100 (do forum search).
