Hi all,

I've seen lots of posts regarding APR chips that boost power to 318hp/382lb ft and even some APR turbo upgrade kits for around $6000 that dish out even more performance.
My question is, would it be safe and in the trannys limits to add any of this to a tip?
I would guess the chip would be OK but the turbo upgrade seems crazy power for the auto/tip tranny to cope with.
any ideas?

No the auto tranny is not rated for very much power. I would not want to go over 250 or so.

 

Do you know exactly what is the HP/torque limit on the auto tranny for the 2.7t?
