A6 Avant rear rotor noise??
I thought I need pads and rotors because I heard the squeaking when I traveling in
a parking garage. Well had to repair a rear tire and when the tire was pulled off I looked
and I had a ton of pad left???
What I did notice was that it was hard to turn the rotor and then I hear the rubbing noise, which I assume is magnified when driving at slow speeds.
I did see a little edge on the outside of the rotor but not a real ridge.
Could the piston not be going back in or caliper not sliding back? Are they like other brakes where the caliper slides?
When I put on the new rotors and pads is there lubing that needs to be done?
