Hi all, new to this FORUM.
I am looking at a 2014 A6 premium plus. Is the stock 2.0T engine powerful enough for this model or should I bite the bullet and upgrade to the 3.0T engine.

Id leave the 2.0 to the a4.

i had the same question but i went 2.0 and am very happy with it,plenty of power and great on gas

 

I guess its a fuel question more than anything.

 

I just had the A6 2.0 as a loaner. It was very unimpressive. It was loud and slow. Skip it.

 

I also have had the 2.0 as a loaner a couple of times. Very big difference in pickup and responsiveness in the gas pedal

 

I have the V6 3.0 and I get great mileage... about 21 around town and 32-34 on the freeway which is as good or better than a lot of small cars. This is a very smooth engine with awesome power. There have been posts on here complaining about the 2.0 turbo smoothness when shifting. Definitely go for the V6 and you will have no regrets.
